In a bid to apprehend those responsible for a brazen shoplifting incident, the Santa Ana Police Department has taken to social media with their “Wanted Wednesday” initiative. The sought-after trio, believed to have stolen over $1,800 in merchandise from a department store in the 1400 block of E. First St. on July 22, 2023, are currently at large, prompting law enforcement to seek the community’s assistance. Authorities are urging anyone with information on the identity or whereabouts of the suspects, as well as details about their getaway vehicle, to come forward.
The suspects, identified as follows:
- Suspect #1: A Hispanic male, aged 30-40, with brown eyes, black hair, a full goatee, and distinctive tattoos on both arms, including unknown tattoos on his upper chest/lower neck area. He was last seen wearing a red hat with the CA red symbol, stud earrings, and two chain necklaces.
- Suspect #2: A Hispanic female, aged 20-30, with black hair, donning a black tank-top, blue jeans, and fake designer sunglasses. Notably, she has butterfly tattoos on her upper left chest and shoulder area, along with unidentified tattoos on her right inner forearm.
- Suspect #3: A Hispanic female, aged 20-30, dressed in a white long-sleeve sweater and black jeans.
The suspects were captured on surveillance footage during the shoplifting incident and subsequently fled the scene in a gray, 4-door Hyundai sedan.
